My husband and I had a lovely time at this restaurant. We traveled from Leeds for our anniversary, and every member of staff we encountered was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The decor was stunning, the food was 10/10, and the atmosphere was delightful. Overall, the experience was great, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic, great service from really friendly waiting staff, food was spectacular, had a private dining area as there were 11 of us, this was brilliant. 10/10.

A Magical International Women's Day Surprise at Our Favorite Italian Restaurant Calzone. For International Women’s Day, my husband arranged a surprise lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was magical — intimate yet lively, creating the perfect setting for a celebration. The staff was nothing short of professional, accommodating, and incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. As always, the food was out of this world. The ingredients were fresh, and each dish was crafted with perfect balance. Everything looked like it came straight out of a magazine, and the flavors were equally exceptional. We started with the Insalata Caprese, featuring fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and olives that burst with flavor — a simple yet deliciously refreshing dish. For the mains, we indulged in the Pizza Pollo Funghi, the traditional Lasagna di Carne della Casa, and the aromatic Ravioli al Funghi e Crema. Each dish was so amazing that we couldn’t stop eating — the flavors were rich and perfectly executed, making each bite a joy. To finish, we had the Homemade Panna Cotta, which was a creamy delight topped with fresh fruit. The smooth texture and sweet finish were the perfect end to our meal. Once again, our visit to this restaurant was amazing, and we are already looking forward to our next visit very soon. Thank you Calzone Team!!

We have always had good meals at The Kitchen but last night’s meal topped the lot and was outstanding from start to finish. The star was the Thai green curry. Best Thai meal I have had since visiting Bangkok. This along with the usual excellent service and lovely surroundings means it’s highly recommended.

The food is delicious, lovely and fresh, Pho has become a firm favourite of ours!
