It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!
