Set on the edge of the picturesque Wessex Downs in the North Hampshire countryside, Malverleys is a small farm, restaurant, bakery and shop. We offer a versatile space for the local community to enjoy coffee, wholesome food and carefully sourced produce.Malverleys provides an outlet immersed in the countryside where friends and family can meet, or those seeking time to themselves can enjoy the comfortable, tranquil atmosphere. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase sustainably sourced products, attend horticultural workshops, and dine in the restaurant where ingredients are seasonal and often raised/grown on-site in the market garden and surrounding land. We also source the best of British fish, with deliveries throughout the week from day-boats landing at Looe harbour and from Hampshire's chalk streams. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate dogs in our restaurant area over lunch or dinner services.

We went for an early dinner and it was nice to see the pub so busy early. We weren’t in a hurry and there were some big celebratory tables but the staff were unfazed. Lovely welcome, order taken when we wanted, absolutely no rush. Food and drink were excellent. Could not fault. This is not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for.

From initial greeting to seating you’re given a warm welcome. Drinks orders are taken and then your left to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant. Snacks are a big player here, the cheese doughnuts and bacon jam are worth the 120 drive alone, but the bread with chicken butter and black pudding and apple Bon Bon’s are just as delicious. We had the special of the day, a Steak, Wild-mushroom and Onion Pie with a red wine gravy served on garlic mash. Again perfectly cooked and full of flavours. Desert was Tarte Tatin that comes with a great scoop of salted caramel ice cream and a jug of custard. I think value for money, this is one of the best restaurants/gastro pubs you can visit. The ethos of Adam Handling is about complete usage of product, low waste and sustainability. You’re eating in a beautiful setting, with attentive staff and Michelin level food for a fantastic price. I also love that NO service charge is added to your bill, allowing you to tip accordingly, instead of feeling obliged. But as always this is something I’m left wanting to do rather than feeling like I should. I love everything about chef Adam’s establishments and will always return for another installment! Thank you

Second lunch at lovely Malverleys. Love the new menu with plenty of dish choices. We were celebrating two birthdays and spent a very relaxing and delicious three hours in the cosy dining room with the log fire burning. Sunshine streaming through the large windows. Would recommend it without hesitation. The adjacent coffee/light lunch area was buzzing. Fab day!
