From the beginning, her vision was to focus on the art and experience of food through culinary activism. A purpose powered by her mantra, “Everybody’s Gotta Eat!” Chef Kristi desires to build community through the cultivation of fresh food and fine cooking.
We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004.
Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy.

The restaurant's menu features traditional dishes from Puerto Rico, Cuba, and other Afro and Latin American countries, prepared with high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.Over the past three years, Lenox Afro Latin Soul has made its mark as a dynamic pop-up restaurant in Seattle. We’ve had the honor of partnering with a multitude of Seattle restaurants, as well as residencies at local craft beer breweries.Built off support from the Seattle Restaurant community and the success of Chopped, our initial dream to open a brick and mortar location in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood has come to fruition.
