Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. What a lovely restaurant in the centre of Old Beaconsfield. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff, high quality two course lunch for £40 each with some lovely surprise additions before and throughout the meal. Having exquisite company was also delightful 😁

Four of us in for lunch and every dish was excellent. Venison sausages, cheese and bacon burger and a Thai chicken green curry. Two of us had the brioche bread & butter pudding. With drinks and coffees plus tip it was £37.50 per head which was good value. Service was very good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday afternoon, relaxed and the sound of people chatting and enjoying themselves.
