Best Italian Restaurants in E. Kansas City

They were so great about accommodating our large group ( volleyball team and parents) and even adjusted times for us once we realized our play schedule would conflict with our original reservation. Great staff and very patient with us! Would go there again!!!

Scratch Gourmet Kitchen continues to impress! From the incredible Valentine’s Day menu to the outstanding service, every detail was top-notch. The food was perfectly executed, with a fantastic selection that made it impossible to choose just one favorite—so I tried everything, and it did not disappoint. Tyler and his team create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion where you want truly exceptional food and service!

This was our first time at Lazia. Everything was perfection. Our server, Cheyanne, was fantastic. She was attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered focaccia bread and the wedge first. Both items - the best we’ve ever tasted. For our entree, we ordered the ribeye and potatoes. Also delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was busy (Valentines Day) but the service was super prompt and the food was hot. We had the raspberry chocolate dessert and the lemon dessert. Both fabulous. We WILL be back. Plate was a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful we tried a variety of items and everything was delicious. Our server was very helpful and had great suggestions on food selections. They had a live musician which we were seated somewhat close to which was a touch noisy but my wife and I could still carry a conversation well enough.

The food was delicious as always. This has become our “go to” restaurant when we want to have a great meal with excellent service.
