It started with the warm greeting that we received from Julio. He was so kind and easy to talk to. We also had great conversation and received excellent service from Manny. He gave wonderful menu and wine suggestions and he was very attentive. It also did not go unnoticed how he and Julio referred to us as “family”😊 Don’t get me wrong it’s a little pricey but the menu is full of goodness. From the crab cakes, steak to DC chicken. Everything everything was delicious. It’s on our list of places to go to if we want to splurge on a good meal or just have drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Service was a bit slow at the beginning, we got there 10-15 before our reservation and felt we were forgotten for a bit, there were parties same side that were sat before we did, even though we were there much earlier than most. Tony our server was on point the whole night, the food was amazing, once we got our first drinks and water things got much better. Charlie’s is and has been always a favorite of mine. Dish was very fishy. If you are going to have a dress code you need to enforce it. There were many people showing up dressed way down. Sweatpants, see-through romper, extreme cleavage.
