Best Romantic Restaurants in Winnipeg

The food was excellent. The service was delightful. Great waiter, very attentive, very friendly. Specifically chose the restaurant and time so it wasn’t too loud and didn’t disappoint. Overall, we all had a fabulous time and will go back.

Brandon was an excellent server and the food was the best we’ve had! We usually go twice a year for birthdays and our anniversary and always a wonderful experience but this time was by far the best 😊

Great service and delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere!

My husband and I went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was the best choice we could have made. When we got to our table we were greeted with a branded card, signed by the staff. Danny was an excellent server and treated us so well. Moreover, we got to cheers to our love with two glasses of Prosecco on the house! Our outfits were not wasted! My husband said it was the best meal he had had in ages and I totally agree! Thank you 529!

My wife & I would give Vida Cucina Italia 6 Stars, if we could! The 5-Course Winter Menu Tasting Dinner with wine pairings was an absolutely epic dining experience! We enjoy fine dining on special occasions, and we had been eager to visit this restaurant… so when we saw that this special tasting dinner was on my wife’s birthday, I immediately booked a table! From the moment we walked in the door of the hotel Wednesday evening we were treated with the highest level of service by every employee of the Fort Garry Hotel, the Oval Room Brasserie, and Vida Cucina Italia whom we encountered, plus the bartender was great and made us delicious cocktails, our dinner server was terrific, and we thought the attentive, friendly sommelier was outstanding! We enjoyed every course and pairing so much that choosing a favourite is a difficult task, however I find myself still dreaming about that Il Falcone wine, and my wife insists she’s never tasted such delicious scallops! They even dressed up my wife’s dessert in celebration of her birthday, which we know many fancy places won’t do, so that was a nice touch. My wife and I were trying to get a photo together in the hotel lobby before we left, when one of the Vida staff offered to help, and she got some of the best photos of us that anyone has ever taken of us! Thank you for the most special evening… we will highly recommend this restaurant to everyone we know!
