Best American Restaurants in Markham

This is me and my friend’s go-to restaurant!! Everything is perfect, from the wide selection of food to the seating, cleanliness, and service.

Just came here today with my boyfriend for his birthday lunch. I have been here before once previously, however it was his first time there. We were greeted by Melissa at the front when we arrived. She was super sweet, wished my boyfriend a happy birthday on the spot and took us to our seats. We ordered the fresh burrata and arugula salad to start along with a matcha latte and mimosa. We got the roadside lobster roll and roasted chicken with a side of charred broccolini. Honestly, the food was amazing. I remembered the roasted chicken being good the first time I was here and had to come back for it and even after many years of not going, it is still just as good as I remembered it to be. It is moist and tender. The food was spectacular and reasonably priced. They came out with a cookie and candle for my boyfriend’s birthday as well, which I did not expect. We also got a butterscotch brûlée, which was a little on the sweeter side, but it was light and airy, making it a perfect way to end a delicious meal. The service was excellent and the staff were very efficient. Our server Kim offered great service and was very attentive. She refilled our waters and was super friendly. Melissa was super nice and sweet, also very accommodating and made the birthday experience for my boyfriend incredible. Thank you to both of you and for the wonderful service and help that you both have provided! :) Will definitely come back again soon!

I requested a table close by the window and they were able to accommodate during the lunch hour. Our server Neil took care of us from the beginning to the end, he checked on us a few times to make sure everything was fine, my friend and I ordered the shrimp tacos and Tuna Poke Bowl to share, it was more than enough for us; the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t too noisy. I always enjoy the dining experience at this location and the staff are friendly and acknowledge your presence.

We booked a table for two on Christmas Eve. We arrived a little early and were seated right away and offered coffee or drinks until the buffet was ready to start. The buffet was extensive and everything was fresh and nicely presented. Even though the room was large, the buffet area was never crowded and we never lined up for any of the dishes. About half way through or main course, two lobsters were delivered to our table as had been promised on the menu. They were cut in half, which not only looked nice on the platter, but made them easy to eat. The service staff were very attentive. They were always there at just the right moment, but never intrusive. The ambiance in the room was lovely. The room was full of happy people in tables of 2 to 10, all of whom seemed to be enjoying the evening. Even so, it was not noisy. Each seating on that evening was for 90 minutes which was about right. We would do it again!
