As always a fabulous experience and such a kind hostess who came out on the street to guide us all in with my elder aunt who walks with a cane and has mobility issues he made sure we did not miss a step on the way in. I really enjoyed the Alderman. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The NY vibe/ambiance definitely contributed to the experience. My one gripe is their policy toward the price fix menu. Everyone in the party must order it or no one can order it. That annoyed me because it is clearly a way to force diners to order more. My friend wanted the price fix and I wanted a la carte simply because the main course I wanted was not available on the PF menu. We were told no and therefore, had to order the bread and salad a la carte when those items were part of the PF menu. Aside from that, I would return in the future but it won't be my first choice.

We had pre-theater dinner. Food came quickly. We ordered a bunch of apps to share - Brussels sprouts salad, roasted tomatoes, chicken wings, mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. Seasoning was perfectly balanced. Textures were gorgeous. We had s’mores for dessert and that was WOW. Not too sweet (how?? We don’t know) and a little salt. Beyond. I can’t wait to go back.
