The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat.     Food and service very good. Our group had 5 glasses of Bordeaux. When I paid the bill I found out that they charge $44 per glass. One: a little warning would be nice on that price. Two: it was a nice but not particularly great wine. So the value was not there at all.

    Bas Rouge is a Michelin class restaurant. Better than Le Bernadin in NY, you have it here locally, all the dishes we ordered were extraordinaire top class, amazing taste and first class presentation. An amazing experience recommended for any connoisseur to try and enjoy this exceptional restaurant and team.

    We both had the Seared Scallops and agreed that they were delicious, as was the Leek Risotto that came with the dish. My wife had the Chocolate Mousse and I had the Lemon and Blueberry Bread Pudding, which were excellent. As usual, Samantha’s service was great. This a great restaurant, if you’re a couple or a small group.

    It was a lovely place for two cousins, coming from Annapolis and Delaware, to meet for lunch. It was a stormy day, and we were pleased that we were welcomed to stay and visit at our table throughout the afternoon. Our waiter was great!
