A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

    We had a family birthday get together and had a wonderful time. Excellent food , service by Polo and great ambience. Terry the manager is always the best. Our favorite restaurant!!

    Our server did a good job of helping us make selections and offering numerous specials. As we were two couples, we did split salads and they came plated separately, which was very much appreciated. My wife’s dish, risotto and lobster, had excellent risotto, but the lobster appeared to be overcooked and was on the hard side. Our server adjusted the bill to reflect that the lobster didn’t meet standards. Piccolinos’s has always been an excellent restaurant with great ambience and attentive servers.

    I recall saying during our meal “I wish I could give this place 6 stars”. Tonight was our anniversary, and our 2nd time coming. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted us with excitement saying she had just finished setting up our table. On our table were thoughtful decorations in celebration of our anniversary. Shortly after speaking with the waiter, we were brought complementary champagne - again in celebration of our anniversary. These were not items we paid extra for, they were thoughtful considerations from the staff serving us. As for the food, it was phenomenal as always. The bread at the table couldn’t come fast enough, as the sauce that comes with it makes the price of dinner worth it by itself. Overall, a wonderful experience and truly one of my favorite restaurants in all of Orange County.

    Had such a wonderful time, our server was fabulous. Took pictures for us and put up with a one year-old perfectly. Food was delicious as always we come here at least twice a year for family get togethers since we are all spread out.

    This is an amazing restaurant with fantastic food and service. The staff is friendly and the owner Sal is so accommodating. Definitely our number one pick for business dinners.

    Loved the food we had. Focaccia appetizer was yummy and flavorful. The gnocchi was rich and tasty and so was the cannelloni. We'd definitely return if we come to this area again.

    Delightful find in walking distance from the Ayres Hotels. Very gracious host and our wonderful waiter Paolo. My paper thin filet mignon carpaccio topped with a generous serving of arugula and shaved parmesan, drizzled with olive oil and capers. Best Ive ever had! My pasta was a rich saffron cream sauce with shrimp and scallops...rich and delicious. Husband enjoyed white sea bass with roasted potatoes a perfectly prepared vegetables. You wont be disappointed!
