    Overall, we had a "decent" time. Our food server had a positive attitude and was attentive, but forgot our appetizer, brought us the wrong wine, and completely forgot one of our guests meals. Things were rectified, but it was a sloppy job.

    Overall good service. Staff told us they couldn’t seat us at a window and never did at holiday time. That was not true. Our steaks were cooked medium rare and we requested them rare. We’ll try again next year.

    Dinner was ok. The sea bass was very fishy. Not what sea bass should taste like. The server was nice & the view was gorgeous. The music was blasting and very bizarre for a nice establishment like this. I would expect some smooth jazz not a Van Halen guitar solo. 🎸 Overall nice.

    Christmas Day dinner. Very busy and very ok. That is to be expected for a holiday meal. The shrimp and scallop dinner was great. Everything else was just ok. Still a good experience.

    We came here for our Christmas dinner and every bite of food was excellent!! Service was also excellent. It was a real pleasure to be there tonight. Congratulations and appreciation to everyone there for our lovely Christmas evening there!

    Service was outstanding. Sea bass with lobster risotto was wonderful. We even had a window table. Really lovely dinner.

    It's hard to feel satisfied when you go somewhere to eat out on Christmas day but we were still pretty underwhelmed. For the price the food was not up to snuff, served cold and was unimaginative. The environment feels well used and nothing particular special. Also wasn't really feeling the piped music. I wouldn't recommend Portland City Grill. The view is special but once you've seen it... for these prices, you expect a special dining experience. This wasn't that unfortunately.
