    I’ve been going to PCG since I moved here. I can say the service is a hit and miss. It all depends on how much money you look like you have (to some servers). This time my server did not seem to care for anything except for great customer service! He was checking on us through, it also helped that we were sat close to the kitchen so it was hard to not notice my party. Food was just ok. I was upset that the mac n cheese was taken off the menu for “perfecting the recipe since it wasn’t good enough.” My daughter literally only goes there for that and their burgers. Overall it was a pleasant visit and as always a stunning view, especially with clear skies in January.

    Food was excellent, reservations might as well not have been made, as you will not get what you reserved, waited well over our reserved time, no window seat as requested.

    There was broken glass in the seat and all around the table. When a person in our party went to slide in, he cut his thumb on the glass shard in the seat. The restaurant said they would call to check in the next day and we never heard from them again .

    Great cocktails, very tasty food. We all got the seafood trio. Quite good, especially the crabcake for me - lots of Dungeness crab, very little cake😉. My husband liked the shrimp preparation, and my son’s favorite was the salmon. Home run for us! We got an appetizer with grilled octopus and pork belly that was REALLY good, especially the octopus. We had a table by the windows ( worth a few minutes extra wait). It was a lovely evening.

    It’s been a couple years since we had been there but the food has gone WAY down in quality. All the food from the soup and salad to the short ribs were terrible. I’ve had better sushi at Fred Meyer. We had reservations on 1/13/2025 for a bday party of 6. They sat us at a table that was built for four people and then told us that they didn’t have any tables big enough for six people. We were really really crowded. Food and ambience were less than fair. Disappointed 😞

    The service and waiters are great! They are very open to explaining their menu/drink menu. Everyone was exceptionally kind. We really appreciated the extra details provided by Portland City Grill for our reservation.

    It’s all about the view from the 31st floor! That said, the food and service are even better. The tenderloin was done perfectly as was the shrimp. And dessert? The best creme brulee I’ve ever had! It’s expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.

    The views from the restaurant are amazing! The table was perfect, just what we needed for our business meeting. The management was very accommodating when I had to add additional seating the day before. The staff showed us exceptional service and was super friendly plus very knowledgeable about the menu. We had an excellent time and will definitely be back!

    Everything was REALLY good! The hamachi was amazing, the tartare was ok as was the pork belly and octopus, and the wagyu eye of a ribeye was amazing!
