A wonderful evening at the Nutcracker enhanced by a delicious and varied buffet. Many gluten-free choices were unique and tasty!

First of all the food is good. Is it worth the price, no. The tables are too close together. I don’t need to hear what the people in the table next to me is talking about. The selection is a good variety, but not for the price that it is. I understand that alcohol drinks would be charged extra, but like at most buffets, non alcoholic drinks should be free. It was a good place to try once, but I will not be going there again before a show.

In my opinion, this restaurant is not worth the money or even the convenience. The most significant issue we encountered was the poor customer service. While it may have been a one-off experience, our waiter only took our drink orders and never returned to refill them or check on us. We needed basic things like drink refills and straws, but had to flag down other waiters each time. The surprising part is that a 20% tip is automatically included in the bill—this for a buffet that costs $60 per person. So, the waiters are walking away with $20 to $90 in tips just for bringing drinks and not checking in further, at least in our case. The guaranteed tip may explain the lackluster service we received. If you’re looking for quantity, this place meets the mark as a buffet. But if you’re seeking quality, look elsewhere. The macaroni was dry, the bread was dense, the fruit was macerated, the chicken was fatty, and the rice pilaf was hard from sitting in the chafing dish for some time. Even the desserts were disappointing, reminiscent of a school event table— but smaller portions and poorly presented. For $60 per person, we expected more. The salads were good, but that was about it. The best part of the experience was its convenient location in McCaw Hall. However, we won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Definitely not worth 50.00 per person. Food was alright, had a few Vegan options but cross contamination was highly likely with rhe serving utensils. Would live to see the vegan or allergy friendly food separate. Service was good, place is convenient, but probably wouldn't eat there again. Too much money for the food.

This is a very convenient place for dinner, as it is in McCaw Hall. The buffet had quite a few protien options but was lacking in vegetables. The atmosphere was very fast paced with no privacy. A solid choice.

Delicious buffet offering before the performance of The Nutcracker. Excellent service, great atmosphere. Wish there were more non-alcoholic beverages on the drink menu.

We wanted to love this place but it just wasn’t that great. The food was buffet style and everything was dry and overcooked (or over steamed) and lacked flavor. The buffet lines were long and several times we were asked to move the line this way or that way because, in one case, a nearby diner “didn’t want to be eating next to our butts”. The service was polite but not attentive…we couldn’t seem to find anyone to clear appetizer plates or refill my tea. Our table was so small that we ended stacking our dirty plates at the empty table next to us, which went unnoticed until they tried to seat people at the table 20 min later. It was nice to have a meal so conveniently close to the performance but we will not be going back. It was a lot of money for terrible food and lackluster service.
