The Point brings the thrill and robust flavors of open flame cooking with the freshest seafood in the city. Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

    Outstanding!! The restaurant is welcoming and the view is great with seating situated so that almost every seat gets a great view of the outdoors and water. The food is excellent!! The selection is vast. Everyone in my party was able to get what they wanted and it was prepared perfectly!! So tasty! With Ample helpings! This is my new favorite restaurant for fish and soulful food!

    Visiting the area and wanted a nice relaxed atmosphere for a late night birthday dinner for two with my cousin. Found The Point on Open Table and checked reviews. When I say it didn’t disappoint, The Point definitely did its name justice! I enjoyed EVERYTHING from the service, drinks, food and ambiance. I will be going back anytime I’m in the DMV errrea ☺️!

    Food lacks seasoning. I got the fried red snapper and it tasted like fried fish without any salt or seasoning. I exchanged it for another dish that was bland, I asked for salt and pepper and ate the dish. The potatoes were soggy instead of crispy. The atmosphere is nice but food is overpriced for being subpar.

    Great service. Great food. Nice ambience. Noise level wasn’t an issue at all. The price was a bit more than I was expecting but not enough for me to stop coming. I’ll be back for sure.

    I had a great waitress named Nancy, I think. I told her we needed to be done and on our way in an hour. She took care of our every need and made sure we left on time. That made a big difference.

    This was my second visit to The Point. The menu has been updated and remains delicious. The cornbread was amazing. The crab cakes are no joke. I look forward to returning.
