Food was incredibly bland, which is especially poor with the price. Slow service but the music was good.

Went here for Virgin Experience deal. 3 course meal, bubbles and bellini. Menu typeface very small and dark in restaurant so very difficult to see ingredients on menu There were 6 of us and none of us finished or enjoyed our meals. Tiny piece of salmon, prawns swimming in a copious amount of a dark green sauce! Bread with starters hard and stodgy, sickly camerbert. Service was poor. Dirty plates left on table for a long time, but quick with bill. Drinks included were good. Bought extra cocktails, pricey but very well mixed. Band were fantastic, would see them again maybe just go for drinks next time!

I am sorry to say my partner and I were deeply disappointed as we were expecting to see Sol and the gang as advertised, Only to find out after we’d finished our meal around 11:30, they weren’t going to make it. I was left wondering who is the band on stage? Is this a different section of Sols team? And why aren’t they singing any 90s R & B slow Jams, which is to be honest the only reason we booked in the first place. Otherwise I would not have booked it at all, they had great voices but the music choices were terrible and not at least one 90s slow Jam was sung. The food was very Plain and overpriced except for the dessert and our waiter which were lovely. Unfortunately this is the first time in 12 years that my partner and I have gone out for valentine’s day and now it just felt completely ruined. There was no email to say they would not be attending. This morning at 10am I have seen that they had posted on instagram last night at 9pm they weren’t attending, at that time I was in traffic following a Sat Nav breaking our necks to get to the restaurant on time incase we’d miss the performance. So i was not able to check instagram at all. By the time we had finished eating my partner and I were so fed up and disappointed I did not have the energy to complain, we paid our bill and left straight away.

We are truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, especially on such an important occasion. We deeply regret the miscommunication regarding the performance and the confusion around the band. We understand how frustrating this must have been. We sincerely apologize for not informing you ahead of time about the change, and we recognize how this, combined with the other issues, impacted your night. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will work to improve communication in the future to avoid similar situations. We’re glad you appreciated your waiter and dessert, but we certainly understand that this didn’t make up for the overall experience. Please feel free to reach out directly if you’d like to discuss your experience further

We had a table for 4 people booking the fixed price menu. Initial waiter was rude, without knowledge of the menu and without care - e.g. asked for a change in a side due to an allergy, response was "I don't know". rather than "I'll speak to the chef/manager". Spoke to the manager and that was resolved. Food was very (very) delayed. 8.45pm table, still no desserts at 11.45pm having finished with the main for over 45 minutes. They discounted the bill which was welcomed but a real shame it wasn't as fun a night as we expected.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will be addressing these issues with the team to ensure better communication and efficiency in the future. We’re glad the manager was able to assist, but we understand the delays impacted your evening. We appreciate your patience and hope we can welcome you back for a much-improved experience.

We went for the “valentines experience”. Cons: - the staff seemed like they’d been drafted in just that day. We were asked 4 times if we were ready to order, each time they disappeared and a different waiter came back and asked the same. - you couldn’t hear the live performance at all. I’m sure they were great singers, but they were almost silent due to the sound not being loud enough. Also it was a “90s r&b” performance - “James blunt beautiful” doesn’t fit this category. - the ambience was terrible. There was no vibe whatsoever. Pros: - the food was of a decent quality (bar the steak being a tooth breaker) I’ve never asked for the service charge to be removed - on this occasion I did. Considering all the positive reviews this place gets, they let themselves down this one evening.

Not what was expected. Wanted the experience of live entertainers blending with the croud, didn't happen. Band quiet, singers sat on their backsides, like a couple of crooners. They played for brief moments with very lengthy breaks, forgot they were there. The food was definitely not value for money, food cold, reported, replied just very busy. Never rectified it. Overall it felt like a last minute put together event by 100 Wardour Street, poor music, poor service by too many staff, didn't know who was serving us. Layout poor, too many backs towards what little entertainment was there

We had a set menu, food was okay but nothing special. Nice settings downstairs with good live band and good service from staff. Overall quite overpriced and could spend the same amount on nastier food. Paying more for the music/band.
