   Mia, Juan, and Bijan provided excellent service. The French toast and lamb hummus were phenomenal. I will definitely return.

   Food was good but was not asked how I would want my steak cooked. Mistakenly given food when it didn’t belong to our table. Also overheard the table next to us never got their food.

   This was way better than anticipated. The food was delicious. We went on Valentines Day (with a reservation we did not get until the night before) which included a Prix Fix menu. The food was tasty and not too much. I left feeling full and not over fed. There was a jazz trio playing. The room is not overly crowded which I very much like. The decor is a mid century vibe. The views were nice overlooking north Michigan Ave. We had a great view of the Allerton sign.

   3 of the 4 of us had meals that were absolutely delicious. The lobster sliders, however, were served on thick slices of white toast…not tasty. Server was very lively. Except for the sliders, I would have given it a 5 rating.

   We made a reservation for 9:45 am on open table, only to find out that the restaurant doesn’t open till 11 am. What the heck open table?

   This was our Christmas Day Dinner. We were looking forward to dinner downtown. We left baffled by our experience and professionalism. The service was beyond terrible. Our server would probably make a better busser or bar-back. Less than subpar service. Avoidant. There was no pivot. Just bad. Ordered our drinks. After 15mins the server realized he forgot to put them in. Our starters were fine. We really enjoyed the burrata brulee. Empty glasses sat on our table. A busser literally stared at them before attempting to walk past them. Had to stop him to remove them. Cleared our plates and utensils before we were finished. Another starter came out and we had no utensils. Person who dropped them didn’t understand why they were gon, we didn’t understand why they took them. Ordered another round of drinks. Waited another 10mins for those. They just sat on the bar with servers standing around them. No teamwork displayed. Ordered our entrees for me the medallions ($28) for my husband the salmon and mashed potatoes ($20+). After 20mins the server came over to confirm with my PESCATARIAN husband if he ordered the CHICKEN. obviously not! Felt like our ordered hadn’t even been put in because we waited FOREVER. So much so that it felt the server began to avoid us. Eventually came over and offered us a round of drinks. We declined because the accumulation of terrible service kinda made us both OVER being there. Our dishes finally come out. His salmon is visibly undercooked. Like lightly seared and RAW in the center. My beef medallions were swimming in blood. Had the server ASKED how I wanted them he would have known I do NOT eat rare meat. They offered a re-fire. We were done! After the terrible CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER, They only felt inclined to remove the entrees and RESTAURANT FEE. for serving RAW /UNCOOKED food the bill should have been ZERO. The manager either didn’t care or was oblivious or didn’t care because they never came to rectify the terrible service/food situation

    The check in was smooth. We were seated immediately. We were served water after about five minutes or so. We ordered drinks and after they were made they sat at the bar server pick up station for a whopping fifteen minutes. After placing our thanksgiving prefix dinner order in we waiting another twenty plus minutes for our food to come. When it did come we were highly disappointed. The three maybe four ounces of dry turkey meat we received was unpalatable. I had a large piece of skin in my turkey meat and two tiny pieces of jerky turkey. I was so embarrassed to have brought my wife and parents to this place. The food couldn’t even satisfy a mouse. The server assistant we had I think his name was Juan or Jesus was an absolute doll. The server we seen maybe twice. I am also in the hospitality business and I would have been embarrassed to put that food out and at $48 a plate. Needless to say my wife and I put together a feast the following day to make up for this disappointing experience. The eggnog martini was delicious! As well as the apple pie.
