129 Center Cut is an excellent restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. We had a wonderful experience and will recommend eating there to anyone that asks.

Brought friends who had never been before and they loved it. Great food, as always.

Had a reservation for a regular table but we were seated at a high top directly in front of the music area. Couldn’t hear ourselves think much less talk to each other. We asked for a different table and then it was fine. Food and service were awesome. But seriously it was ridiculous. The music was actually really good but not from a distance of 5 feet! If you are going to have music at a regular dinner hour, turn it down! A lot!

I looked forward to trying 129 center cut. I was very surprised at the high prices in downtown Grayslake. The first thing noticed were the 2 people playing guitars and singing were quite loud for a dinner house where people would talk, and management did not direct them to turn it down a little bit. I ordered the double pork chops and my table mate ordered the chicken piccata. I had to get a steak knife to be able to cut the pork chops. I had some of the chicken piccata and it was covered with a very unusual covering not your usual bread crumb covering; it was kind of gloppy, gelatin and and flour like. There was no sauce on it. I was just surprised at our experience. I have had better food at other area restuarants.

The food was delicious & our server was very attentive The room was a bit loud but that was because they had musicians. Overall good experience

We started out with a Margherita pizza for an appetizer, it was great. For the main course, we had the boned in ribeye, hangar steak, miso glazed salmon and pasta Primavera. Everything was delicious, along with the salads, soups, and mashed potatoes. For dessert we shared a tree leches cake slice, it was enough for all 4 of us. Service was good, kept the soft drinks and ice tea filled. We were in the restaurant while there was music in the bar, which made conversation a little more difficult. The music was good, though.

Business phone is set up so that you can't speak to a person. Did our reservation on line requesting table by the band - request not fulfilled. Expensive and not impressive food. Need noise reduction panels - couldn't hear the band very well and definitely couldn't hear the person sitting right next to me.

Loved the new menu at Center Cut. The food was really good and what made it perfect was the music. The two guys playing music were just wonderful. Center cut made it a fun night to be out.
