   It’s a Tuesday night. Not overly busy so it wasn’t loud. Food and service was fantastic and friendly.

   We were in house on a Sunday afternoon for a birthday party. It was quiet so we could hear, and the service was great. We had a severe lactose issue as well as a gluten issue and they accommodated without issue. It was a great place to gather and catch up as a group of friends. We will be back.

   Went for brunch and the eggs benny with smoked bacon was delicious. Food was served hot and flavour was amazing! My sister had a specialty coffee and it was made with whipped cream (not from the can) and it was also delicious. We have been here a bunch of times for brunch and have never had a bad meal

   Went for dinner to celebrate my birthday with friends. Food, drinks and services was great. Nothing extra was done by the restaurant for my birthday even though I did indicated before coming. Either way I will be back.

   12welve is a great place. I feel somewhat like a regular due to the manner in which I am treated, but I think they are this friendly with everyone. Great staff. The food is great and helpings are plentiful. They regularly add new experiences to the menu to try so despite going there many times, I rarely eat anything I have had before. The bar is nice and their cocktails have continuously improved. Great place, great staff, great food, great price! A winner.

    A Perfect Valentine’s Evening at 12 Bistro Stepping into 12 Bistro on Valentine’s Day felt like entering a haven of romance and culinary excellence. The intimate atmosphere, softly glowing candlelight, and the hum of contented diners set the stage for what would be a truly unforgettable dining experience. Despite the holiday’s prix fixe menu, the staff graciously accommodated our request for a personal favorite—oysters. Fresh, briny, and impeccably shucked, they arrived on a bed of ice, each bite a pristine taste of the sea. It was the perfect way to begin our meal. Next came the tuna tartare, a dish that can often feel overcomplicated, but here, it was a masterclass in balance. The delicate freshness of the tuna shone through, heightened by just the right amount of acidity and seasoning. Silky, vibrant, and impossibly fresh, it was a highlight of the evening. For the main course, the filet with peppercorn sauce was nothing short of perfection. Cooked precisely to our requested doneness, the steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with the bold, creamy peppercorn sauce enhancing rather than overwhelming the meat’s natural flavor. Every bite was a reminder of why a well-executed filet remains a timeless indulgence. To finish, the chocolate lava cake arrived with a delicate dusting of cocoa, its center yielding to a rich, molten core. Yet, what set this dessert apart was its restraint—it delivered deep chocolate decadence without being overly heavy, leaving us entirely satisfied rather than overwhelmed.
