Le menu saisonnier contemporain du chef Samuel Kim mêle les saveurs des ingrédients frais de la région dans des plats uniques et délicieux d’été. 1789 is where we go to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays & other special occasions because its food, service and classy ambiance make our visits memorable. Highly recommend it without reservations. ❤️

The kitchen had a bad night, hopefully they get things squared away. The wait staff was fabulous.

We hadn't been to 1789 in almost four years and had very fond memories of our previous experiences. Our return to the restaurant was a validation of those memories - everything was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves once again.

i have been to 1789 more than 30 times over multiple years. many virtues: quiet ambience perfect for talking to people, attentive service, reasonably priced wine list. some issues: the menu is limited and essentially unchanged over many many months providing limited options. the steak au poivre was far from a classic version, i think the steak may have been sou vided and the pepper sauce anything but. for a period of time they were offering more different menu options but it's tricky to want to go knowing there are only 2 or 3 choices for mains that seem reasonable.

1789 is a highly sought after reservation - especially during restaurant week - and for good reason! Everything was perfect. This is a most do for special occasions or for any fine dining enthusiast in the area.
