Located within the historic grounds of the Guinness Storehouse, 1837 Bar & Brasserie celebrates the best of Ireland. Named after the year Guinness and oysters were named as the perfect match.

With great views of Dublin city and a menu of classics - smoked salmon, oysters and a rather famous Guinness burger - along with likes of flatbreads, sharing plates and a Guinness chocolate mousse that playfully resembles a glass of the black stuff.

All dishes are designed by our award winning chef Sean Hunter, to be enjoyed with the range of Guinness beers on offer along with a full drinks list.

The Guinness Storehouse restaurants are open to the public without an experience ticket. We ask that restaurant visitors pre-book their table whenever possible. Walk up visitors to our restaurant will be admitted subject to availability. Please be aware restaurant access does not give you Guinness Storehouse Visitor Experience, but you can buy a ticket on arrival at admissions.

                                      We Had the most amazing meal. The burger was awesome and the Guinness stew is a must. So full but managed to squeeze in the Guinness chocolate mousse which again was amazing. All washed down with several pints of Guinness. We were seated by the window with a great view. The waiters were very friendly. A must if you are doing the Guinness tour!

                                      Highly recommend eating here outstanding service with great food let alone having a couple of guinness to wash it down

                                      I booked this restaurant for my family, but when we arrived, we noticed a sign saying it was open until 6 pm. We had booked for 5:30 pm without realising it closed so early (I wouldn't have booked that time if I had known). When we sat down, we felt rushed. The food was served, and it was okay but very underwhelming. We had the Burger and Gammon, and it was very basic. I asked for vinegar and was given a large bottle from the kitchen, as they had everything cleared away. The server was very unfriendly. Overall, I'd rate it 3/10.

                                      Food choices varied. Some of us got lucky, whereas others not so much. The sound of the items on the menu did not completely deliver. The presentation of every dish looked extremely appetizing. The quality in most cases was very good. Stand out items was the pumpkin starter and the gammon dish.
