18th & 21st brings something fresh and classic to Columbia, Maryland. Named after the Constitutional Amendment that enacted Prohibition and then subsequent Amendment that repealed it, 18th & 21st promises to bring back a bygone era through an elevated, tailored evening experience. Our food and cocktails reflect the feel of prohibition supper clubs. This not to say we're stuck in the past, but rather that we try and emulate the style of that era. That means beautiful presentation, careful crafting, and perfect pairings to keep your night on beat. Combined with live music, this creates an unparalleled experience for the discerning and adventurous looking for a sophisticated evening. Due to the nature of the experience at 18th & 21st we request that all diners be over the age of eighteen.

    Service was excellent. No rush emphasized by the staff. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Ambience with live music was great. Comfortable seating. Would highly recommend

    Had a really nice time! Great menu, a bit expensive but you’re eating to live jazz music in a beautiful venue. Looking forward to going back again!

    Celebrated a friend’s birthday and this was the perfect place. Ambience, decor and music is great. Everyone enjoyed everything they ordered. I will definitely be back

    Really enjoyed our outing here while live music was playing. The food is good, but the pricing is just a smidge toward the extravagant. I suppose the extra few bucks per item pays for the ambiance, as there is no cover. It's fine dining pricing, and the food certainly qualifies. The service was extremely friendly, no complaints there, although at this price point it should be (and it wasn't snooty/fine-dining-ish, but I don't really expect that in Columbia, MD.) It's worth it for a special occasion, or maybe if you really want to impress a date. (Just make sure the date can also be impressed by a good food truck too!)

    By far, this one of the best SpeakEasys I have visited in the Columbia area. The food and service was 5 star. Great ambiance for dining and listening to live music. I will definitely visit again.

    This is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend this place. Food selection and quality is superb along with service. The best part is you get to listen to wonderful musicians while eating.

    From arrival to departure, excellent service on a very busy Valentines Day. At the table there was expert help in picking food and wine combinations that were spot on. The amuse included lemon arancini that popped with bright lemon flavor and a glaze and greens nicely complementing. We split the crab toast and pork belly appetizers, it was hard to say which was the best as each was amazing. For entrees we each ordered the filet with creamed spinach and fingerling potatoes. It was perfectly prepared and delicious and we were taken by surprise by the creamed spinach which was by far the best we have ever eaten. Desserts of berries and shortbread provided the perfect ending to a great experience. As usual, the Jazz served as an excellent backdrop for the evening. One of the best dining experiences we have had, thank you for the excellent performance of the entire 18th and 21st team.
