1928 is dedicated to ensuring you have an incredible, hospitable dining experience. To ensure all of our reservations stay on time during our busiest services, we do reserve the right to hold reservations to the following time limits.
*Parties of 2 have a 90-minute time limit from your reservation time.

*Parties of 3 have a 100-minute time limit from your reservation time.

*Parties of 4-6 have a 120-minute time limit from your reservation time.
*We do not accept reservations solely for beverage. All reservations must be made with the intent to dine at our restaurant.

A hidden gem of Boston! Nestled on the hill, you’ll enjoy a welcoming staff, charming dining room and bar, and amazing food. The 1928 cocktail is a delicious twist on the traditional vodka cranberry. The crab cakes were made with loads of crab meat. The lobster tortellini is highly recommended but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything off the menu.

If I can give them 0 I definitely give it to this restaurant. 1. Wait for 20+ minutes for the table even though we have reservation! 2. The waiter was so rude. We wanted to order appetizers first but he said the chiefs wanted we to order appetizers and entrees in the same time. That’s fine we could order that. 3. After appetizers were served and the plates were cleaned. The waiter came back and said , here’s the dessert menu. And we were surprised because we didn’t even get our main courses yet. Again he said we had to order it first. WTF. 4. He came back and asked for if we wanted to order the dessert. We said no because we didn’t even get our food yet and we never got asked like this in another restaurant. The waiter just said oh he thought we already got food. 5. Foot is not impressive, too bland. But the worst is service. Fish was over cooked, steak was the way to dry even though it was medium. No more for this restaurant

I love the decor of the restaurant. This was the Third time eating there. The first time was at the bar and it was good. Second time my anniversary. The server said that they ran out of waygu pig in a blanket because of a party they had before. Then you ran out of sparking water. Which is $8. So my husband got a glass of club soda for $5. The servicer asked Me if I want bread of something But I said no thanks but brought 2 glasses of club soda, which we thought was Complimentary because of the bad pasta and changed us $10 for club soda we Did not order. We waited a very long time Between apps and main course. My Cacio e Pepe was like paste and over cook so I sent it back a got It was delicious. Brussels sprouts need to be cooked longer. They were still raw. Last night I brought my family to enjoy the restaurant at 6:30. Wanted to give it another try. First the waiter did not greet us just asked us if we wanted drinks. Your restaurant ran out of Diet Coke at 6:30 on Saturday night!!! My husband order the stuffed Shrimp and the wagyu pigs in a blankets. Your servicer should tell their table what you don’t have straight away before they decide on there meal. Very disappointed!!!! Take the Waygu off the menu if you are serving it for the season! Again waiting very long between app and main course. Underwhelming!! Very disappointed!! I wish it was better.

My first time here and it was wonderful! Staff was very attentive and the food was just delicious. I ordered the steak frites, and it was cooked perfectly!!!

Great food and atmosphere. Our server Violet was awesome, especially dealing with us messing her name up continuously. Will be back!

1928 is always a hit. the food is delicious, the staff excellent and the ambiance is gorgeous. really cozy , friendly vibe. a Boston MUST!

Staff seemed very confused but very friendly Took forever to get ordered drinks then drinks we didn’t order came to table Food was okay - nothing special both my meal and my husband - we so much wanted it to be great place to go definitely off our list to go places We had cappuccinos very hot dark brown water - we at this point decided not to even sample desserts just wanted to get home

The food was terrible. The salmon was fishy and dry. The brussel sprouts were too hard to eat. We didn’t order dessert as we had to get out of there!

This place was outstanding in terms of food, drink, service, and ambiance. The lobster tortellini is an absolute must, as well as the 1928 cocktail. The layout and ambiance of this restaurant was absolutely spectacular. It was large but felt intimate-great spot for a date night. The waitress and the hostess were very kind and friendly. Overall, I will definitely be going back to this place soon!
