Our server was nice, but the experience of having to wait so long, and then wait some more to have new food brought was disappointing

Overly dressed in a full cup of hollandaise sauce that tasted like pure butter. Waitress never offered coffee after one initial cup. The dish was removed from the bill, but I left hungry, would’ve happily paid for good food.

Food took over 45mins and service was incredibly slow when there were only 4-5 other tables in the entire establishment and 3-4 servers present. Moreover, was sick for two days after. Unfortunately, would not recommend or return.

                                                                                            It’s a very child/family friendly restaurant, attached to the Westin hotel in Carlsbad and located directly behind Legoland. We had the Legoland fireworks going off during our dinner which was nice for the ambiance. We went to celebrate our anniversary, which was only acknowledged by the hostess. Service was fine, but paced slowly (this was apparently the fault of the kitchen). We finished our entrees within an hour but having our dessert served and getting the check took an extra hour. The price was reasonable. I had scallops and they were very good. My fiancée had the “nostalgic deconstructed wagyu corn dog” which was good but not consistent with its price. We split chicken fries and they were again good but valued too high.

                                                                                            great ambiance but seems short hand on staff . Long wait and line to sit despite reservation made . We had 2 kids and was given table by the high chair bar and we were the first 4 reservation to go in . There were several tables available and we were moved to another table . Then we had to wait a while for our food as well , although we were warn by waiter to order as soon as possible since they were very busy . Didn't seem upscale the way the service was
