Located downtown Bridgeport CT, 29 Markle Ct. Awarded "Best New Restaurant 2023" by the Connecticut Restaurant Associations "CRAZIES Awards". Upscale New American Cuisine, focused on local, coastal ingredients and smoked methods of cooking. Exec Chef, @chefdamondaye.

We gladly accept walk-ins at the bar on a first come first served basis. A 15-minute grace period is allotted to your arrival time should you run late. After 15 minutes your reservation will be released and offered to guests on our waitlist. All guests must be present to be seated. Tables are reserved for one & half hours. For parties of 6 or more, a $25 per person credit card hold is required to confirm your reservation. No shows and or unconfirmed cancellations risk forfeit of held funds. If you would like to book a catering event or a reservation for a larger party (8+), please send an email to restaurant@29marklect.com. All larger party requests must be confirmed and require a credit card. Thank you.

We were warmly greeted on a chilly January Sunday evening. By none other than the chef himself. He creatively described his favorite dish and hoped we would enjoy it as well. If there was a spice or vegetable that was not positive with my digestive tract he introduced another dish that would be hove me instead. The waiter was fantastic and the restaurant should be the 1 attraction in Bridgeport, Ct

This is one of the best spots in the greater Bpt area. Fantastic food with great service and good ambiance. We love this place.

Amazing NYE pre fixe dinner! So glad we found this gem and agree with all the other amazing reviews. Great bar, bartender, waitstaff and the chef came out to introduce himself. One of the best dining experiences we have had all year. We will def be back!

The service and food were absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel genuinely welcome. Their friendly and accommodating demeanor stood out, as they happily addressed all our requests and thoroughly answered our questions about dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding—made with fresh ingredients and featuring unique flavors and recipes that impressed us all. We were particularly thrilled when the chef came out to greet us at our table—a truly special touch. As we left, nearly the entire staff shook our hands, leaving us in awe of their hospitality. It was an unforgettable experience with incredible food and service. We’ll definitely be returning!

Three Stars Michelin Quality Food at 29 Markle Court with its New American Cuisine is outstanding in City of Bridgeport, CT. Dinner for four, two couples. The oysters 🦪 🦪 were unique and delicious. Our international guest said they were best she has ever eaten! My husband’s entree was lamb 🐑 chops, which was a small plate, One had scallops in risotto, another ate the house made 🦐 shrimp ravioli and short rib for me! Two had oysters to start, one had the beets and one the huge Cesar Salad. Yum! Complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate a birthday. Wow! What a great night.

The food and service were excellent. The dining room was incredibly loud. A young woman at the table behind us was cackling so loud, it made it difficult to hear. There was a little kid watching cartoons at such a high level that it was difficult to have a conversation. A suggestion is to require headphones if listening to an iPad or other device.

As always never disappointed with our visits to 29 Markle. Outstanding in every way and the food continues to be superior. So unique with the flavors, you simply can’t find any where else.

From the music, to the service, to the food, everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone was very kindly attentive and the food was worth all the accolades(ordered the Papas Rellenas, the charred broccolini and the incredible Fried chicken sandwich. Wish I had room for dessert). Already looking forward to my next visit!
