We arrived at 6 PM for our reservation and was seated promptly. After receiving the menu, we were informed that there was five items that were unavailable on the appetizer portion of the menu and two entrées were unavailable on the dinner portion of the menu. Very odd

Poor quality food and people yelling at the top of their lungs at bar. Service was fine. I heard another able mention that this was the last night for this business. Feel bad for the staff because they worked hard. Food was just tv dinner quality.

Our waiter made an unpleasant comment to my brother and then tried to talk his way out of it. Then he spent little time waiting on us. I had to pour my own wine for our party. The food and wine were fantastic.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at 312 Chicago before a show at the Cadillac Theater. Food was exceptional, bartender fielded a creative holiday order, and server was excellent. Only negative was delayed service owing, as we understand it, to numerous employee no-shows in protest of a looming closure...very unfortunate as this is an outstanding loop fixture.

The food was very heavy handed and not well prepared. The Italian rolls at the beginning were heavy and doughy. The chicken entree tasted pre-prepared and was not brown. The sauce was gloppy and missing almonds as noted on the menu. The salmon was fine, nothing special. The server was friendly, but inattentive and slow. We had to chase down the check. They cleared away silverware after the appetizer and never brought new silverware with the entree we had to ask twice. We asked for more water and weren't service it. The ambience is still nice looking it is a shame the food and service weren't worth returning for as it is a great location.

Took my mom for her 80th BD, which was acknowledged by the hostess upon seating but then never again. Odd as to why “is this a special occasion?” is asked when making the reservation. After our food was served, never saw server again. Had to flag her for coffee and no refill offered. My handicapped mom couldn’t access the upstairs bathroom and can only use the restroom at an adjacent office building up an elevator which is locked without a server coming up to unlock.Good food but overall underwhelmed.
