   I've been to Shula's for Christmas and few times and this was by far the worst. Started off with a cocktail that only half the glass was filled. Asked for bread service as was told no bread was being offered that evening and then the table next to us got bread. When asked about it our waiter said he would look into it but never returned with an answer and ignored the situation. My salad that was to arrive before my meal showed up at the same time and had to ask for steak knives. The food was good but we've had better from them in the past. I give them grace for it being a busy evening but when I pay close to $300 for a family of 4, there is a level of expectations and service that matter.

   Not a good experience on Christmas Day. We requested a wheelchair accessible table when we made a reservation, we reiterated the request when we checked in and waited and when we were called up, . The table still was not set up for the wheelchair. The temperature in the restaurant was freezing cold and we were not the only ones to complain and even asked if it could be warmed up a bit, but it never was. the lights above our table were constantly flickering, which is very annoying as you’re trying to eat and talk. Food was OK but not worth the price. This was our third visit there and we won’t be back.

   They had a Christmas Menu - it was fantastic - something for everyone. Our server Tony was by far one of the best servers we have ever had at a restaurant. Attentive, personable and very accomodating and knowledgeable

   The half chicken was deep fried because they said did not have all the ingredients for their usual half chicken menu. The spare ribs were too salty. Almost every table had people wearing baseball caps tshirts and shorts and not even dressed up for Christmas. They put 20% gratuity in the tab without telling us and expected us to give more tip money. We almost ended giving them a 40% tip before we saw the automatic 20% gratuity. The place used to be so much better but for some reason this year was not good.

   The food was sent back polenta undercooked and fish to lemony! Coffee was cold and my friend's food was cold and sent back. The service was slow in the food was terribly overpriced. There was a mandatory gratuity.

   Server Christopher and assistant manager David were wonderful! All requests were attended to and the food was superb from start to finish! It was a super experience and my husband and I enjoyed our 20th anniversary dinner! Amazing!
