   We made reservations for 7:00 for my wife's birthday. As we were going through the day, we got hungry sooner, so we decided to go early and see if they could seat us. We figured if not, we could hang out at the bar until it was time, so win-win either way. They were very accommodating to us and seated us right away, which tuned out to be a blessing. As we were wrapping up our meal, a large group of young folks came in for their HS Formal dinner and the sound level greatly increased. No shade on the kids, they were just having fun and we not at all disrespectful. Just the noise level increased when they got there. Our server was very attentive to us, but never made us feel rushed. My wife got the filet medallions and I got the stuffed chicken. Her medallions were very good. My chicken was fine. Overall, we will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. It's a higher end cajon cuisine, so there are lots of very appetizing items on the menu. They have a more casual menu and vibe in the bar area if you are looking for something less formal.

   Only complaint was I guess they need more employees. Our server and apparently the kitchen was overwhelmed. Concert at SkyPac had them scrambling. Food was great; service, especially the timing of taking an order and when to bring.ouy what, was the biggest problem.

   Very cool spot to eat. The deviled eggs and spinach dip is great! I had the stuffed chicken with grits and it was excellent!

   My husband and I went with friends for my birthday. The filet mignon is the best in town! The cheesecake with raspberry sauce was brought with a written “Happy birthday” message on the plate and was delicious. This is a great restaurant in a great location. We always take a stroll around the downtown square after we eat here. Beautiful ambiance in a lovely part of town. And the food is outstanding!

   Very good. Appetizers, salads, entrees were all very enjoyable. Service was very good. We walked next door to Mickey’s after dinner. We will be back.

   First time at the restaurant. Conrad our waiter was outstanding. He made suggestions and helped us order delicious appetizers (grouper cheeks) and entrees ( spicy chicken and crab cakes). There was an amazing variety and creativity of menu choices. We truly enjoyed our dining experience.

   DeeDee was our server and she made the night super special. Friendly and went out her way to make sure everything was perfect. Meal was fabulous. We had the caprese salad which was served differently than we have had and it was delicious!! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the butter cake with their own sweet tea ice cream was amazing!

    This was our second time enjoying 440 Main. Our wait person was helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. We started with a cocktail each. The Old Purple Parakeet for me and G. L. Marg for my husband. Both were delicious and a nice way to begin our evening. We shared deviled eggs which had a nice kick from the jalapeños. Mike ( husband) could not resist the baby spinach side salad with glazed pecans, gorgonzola cheese and vinaigrette dressing. I was delighted with the baked mahi mahi special. It was served with amazing jalapeño grits. Mike said yes to a sweet tea brined pork chop. It was tender and juicy and peach and jalapeño chutney and smoked cream corn made for a delicious.
