   Great spot overall. Lightning was just enough. Very quite. Our server was friendly and professional. Managing my reservation was the best experience I have had in Winnipeg yet since I moved to the city few years back, what I requested was promised and followed through with ease. I showed up and everything was perfect. My partner had a wonderful time, and food was delicious. Highly recommend the Lobster potato Salad and Fancy Tots.

   Waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They provided valet parking with pleasant staff members and also provide coat service. Exceptional experience. Will definitely return and recommend.

   It is a steak place. We ordered 2 steaks (1 New York and 1 tenderloin) and both came dry and barely warm. Looked like old reheated small pieces of meat. Either that or they were sitting for a while before being served to us. Each one cost over $50. Extremely disappointed.

    We were really excited to try the new “529”, but unfortunately it failed to impress. It is basically a cafe space in a building lobby, not an appropriate space for a full service restaurant. The menu sounded great, but seriously failed to deliver on flavour, and pretty much everything was underseasoned. The service was great, however. Trying to associate itself with 529 Wellington was probably a mistake, as the standard it sets is pretty high and this space is not equipped to get anywhere close.
