   Best pork belly in Palm Springs or maybe anywhere! I also got the braised beef over farro and it wasn’t my favorite. The beef was great but the farro was drowning in cheese and too rich for me- I couldn’t eat it!

   Our party of four had a great dinner at 533 Fusion last night. We dine at this restaurant fairly often because the food, service and atmosphere are consistently good and the moderate pricing is good value. Highly recommended.

   The food was very good. It arrived surprisingly quick and was very hot. I recommend the Pad Thai Trio. Our server was friendly and helpful (turns out he is also the owner). The tables are spaced far enough that you are not on top of other diners. The water service was a little slow. This was our second time in as many weeks.

   probably been here a dozen times and have always been pleased. This time I ordered the ramen. Whenever I have had ramen elsewhere it’s always been a lovely broth, veg, protein, noodles and often a jammy egg on top. What was served is a bowl of very stodgy liquid the consistency of gravy. So much coconut milk with some curry, it should have been ladled over rice at an Indian restaurant. I thought it was a mistake but the waiter informed me that that’s their ramen. I said it wasn’t what I wanted at all and was told that’s just what their ramen is. I was with friends from down valley so I wasn’t going to push it, I just set it aside and enjoyed my sake. I recommend the restaurant highly, I’ll be back but I wouldn’t recommend the “Ramen” or the server who didn’t try to make the customer happy.
