56 West Smithfield was founded by a family of winemakers, with a passion for creating unique, hand-crafted wines.

Our family vineyard, Château De La Cômbe, is a small, boutique vineyard in Provence. Determined to make exceptional reds and whites in a region renowned for its rosés, we spent years lovingly restoring the chateau and estate, rebuilding the winemaking cave with state-of-the-art equipment and re-planting and tending to the vines. It wasn’t long before our organic wines began winning international awards – a testament to quality winemaking in Provence.

Eager to share our wines with the world, we partnered with like-minded, family-owned and boutique wineries to bring our rare and wonderful wines to you at 56 West Smithfield, without costly intermediaries.

Good wine to drink by glass or bottle, reasonably priced, nice relaxed wine bar and shop. Friendly service. Cheese and charcuterie and plenty of nibbles.

We didn't eat but popped in for a couple of glasses of their excellent Provence Rose served in beautiful wine glasses (much nicer than pub glasses wine glasses!) - delicious and excellent value for money. I will be back.

Good selection of wines and reasonable prices. Very cute and cosy environment. Comfortable and private too. Furnishings are luxurious. The one toilet could be a bit of an issue when busy.

I love this little wine bar. Selection of wine is outstanding. Not too impressed with the food. However i will be back, happily.

First time here and I can’t wait to go back! Such a lovely and comforting space, the wine is fantastic and the I recommend the charcuterie boards. The value is pretty reasonable, the range in prices means you can really enjoy yourself without breaking the bank.

Lovely venue with great choices and unusual wine options. The space provides lots of discrete and very comfortable areas but the amount of stairs must be a challenge for the staff (who are lovely). The cheese was a highlight too
