   Really excellent. Will definitely return. We all ate different things and each dish scored top marks. Lovely intimate feel and friendly staff. Not cheap but unlike many other places does deliver top notch cooking. Only glitch, and hence not five stars all round, was side dishes failed to appear which meant the mains were pretty much meat plus sauce / garnish and they needed a bit more.

   Been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time and finally made it. Wow, the food was stunning, the best we have had in while. The staff were so lovely and attentive and it’s now our new favourite restaurant. We will hopefully be back many times.

   Amazing time here, big shout out to Ashley for the recommendations and service. Though I am a big meat eater and the duck and game was excellent, the fish dishes were outstanding

   This is the 3rd restaurant in the group that i have had the privilege of dining in, Portland, Clipstone and now Godge Street. The food, I found my starter Duck with Orange - odd, the duck was very small 2 tiny slithers and very fatty, the salad was very bitter - not to my taste at all. The main was completely different, Venison, outstanding, lean flavourful, the blackened greens sumptuous and the Pomme Anna the perfect side dish - it was all delicious. The desert Tarte tatin again was wonderful the pastry was crispy and buttery, the apples soft and caramelised matched with crab apple ripple ice cream - yummy. We were given table number 1, i think is the number just as you enter the dinning room - worst table - right by the door that needs to be opened for everyone so the draft was terrible and it was a freezing cold day - didn't help the experience. We were also rushed - we arrived at 12 and our starter and main had been served and finished by 12.45 i know sometimes this happens but it felt rushed - like come on - I understand tables need to be turned but you also need to give the existing client a warm and welcoming service, you want to feel special and not like a number/next! A real shame as it definitely spoiled the experience.

   Very good all-rounder, with notably charming service, and enjoyable cooking (even if I couldn't find it quite as rave-worthy as some reviews suggest). The interior is very comfortable, but, as it fills up, can feel a little bit crowded and noisy – perhaps this is an ideal lunch venue?

   Four of us really enjoyed our experience at 64 Goodge Street. In London, it can be 'hit and miss' in my experience, but this place was first class. Each course of food was well cooked, good ingredients and super tasty. Service was friendly and prompt, without being pushy. Wine perfect. What more can you ask? Highly recommended.
