   I was looking for somewhere different to eat as I was meeting 2 friends to celebrate a birthday. I searched for recommendations on line and found that 64 Old Compton Street had good reviews. It didn't disappoint. Although small inside, it wasn't cramped and there were adequate spaces between the tables. The ambience was lovely, the waiters were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We had a very good evening -there was a good wine list - I enjoyed a few glasses of Picpoul whilst my friends favoured the Montepulciano which they said was excellent. All in all a lovely evening. I would highly recommend.

    A small quaint little place, with terrific food but the confused almost faulty towers style comedic service took the shine off the experience, starters arrived quickly and were super delicious, afterwards my main arrived but my wife's order was incorrect so it was taken away. I was about to start eating mine when it too was suddenly whisked away, apparently, it was for another table, ... after a short wait a single serving of chunky chips was delivered to us, nothing else, no mains just chips sitting going cold waiting for something to join them, 5 minutes passed nothing, I asked a member of staff who told me they were waiting on the mains (why bring the chips) another 5 mins and our mains arrived... except they didn't, yet again my wife's dish was incorrect, and they had mixed her chicken risotto with someone else's vegan risotto, I began to eat mine they were not taking it away again ... After yet another wait eventually the correct meal arrived for her ... The food was amazing but how they managed to get the order wrong twice in a place that has about a dozen tables seating about 30 diners is beyond me. Dessert was lovely but delivered without a spoon to eat it, this was promised but took 5 mins to arrive at the table. As mentioned before the food was amazing but the service needs work ....
