The Restaurant and Skylounge have a Smart Casual dress code. Jackets are not required however, no hats, athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops are allowed. Reservations are held for 15 minutes.

71Above features a 3 course Prix-Fixe menu for dinner only. We kindly ask all dining room guests to participate in the coursed menu. Please be aware, any seating requests are noted, but not guaranteed. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED. 18% service charge is added to all checks.

A culinary experience for the adventurous omnivore. Reserve one of two booths facing our open kitchen for a front row seat as our culinary team creates your custom five course menu. This immersive experience is not for the picky eater and is perfect for Angelinos, visitors, and celebratory occasions alike. Each booth can accommodate up to four guests and is right in front of all the kitchen action with the city views behind. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is distributed 100% to the hourly restaurant staff. Please note that while we attempt to accommodate most dietary restrictions, there are instances where we cannot meet every limitation including but not limited to, gluten free, dairy free and vegan diets.
3 Course Dinner with Hightop Bar Seating

High Top bar seating for our 3 course dinner menu. Please note this is a high table with high bar chairs for seating. These tables are in our bar area and can accommodate 8 to 14 guests. Reservations for cocktails only are unavailable at this time. Menu and prices subject to change. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed.

Ordered the 3 course meal and wine experience. It was delicious every bite paired well with each wine that was served. The waiter knew what each meal was and wine stewards knew about the wine pairing and it’s history. Definitely going back!

4.95 out of 5. Let me explain… we had an amazing window table, view was spectacular. The only nuance was that we were too close to the kitchen doors, so a bit noisy. However, the experience quickly faded away the noise. The settings were top notch, the ambiance couldn’t be better, very classy and distinguished. The food was out of this world, we enjoyed the distinct and special touch of flavors infused by the chef creations. The wine and cocktails selection was adequate and expansive. I ordered the ribeye steak and I couldn’t be more pleased with my selection. Also, as my 1st course I enjoyed the Caledonian Prawns . Amazing! Definitely I will repeat the experience and recommend the restaurant to my friends and colleagues.

Went there for my birthday truly a special experience -the food was delicious and unique flavor combinations. We had the grilled octopus which was sublime and the fig mousse dessert with malted milk ice cream was a tasty throwback to childhood in an adult version. We had a window Chef's table. The service was excellent, the staff was down to earth and friendly. I highly recommend.

We got there right at open and were able to sit at a window. The view was absolutely beautiful! We each got the three course meal, and got an additional 2nd as the filet mignon of A5 Wagyu. The A5 Wagyu was nothing like it is in Japan, but it also is better than any steak you will ever have in the states. This place was exceptional and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone trying to do something special, or just enjoy a great meal at a high price!

The food was splendid, and the service was exceptional. My only complaint was that it was a bit louder than I prefer. Despite this minor issue, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed the food and the view was great. The widow seating is the way to go. The service was excellent everyone was very attentive and made us feel very welcoming.

It was an amazing experience. Since we arrived, they greet you with a smile and treat you very nice. The view from here is spectacular , L.A. looks so peaceful. The food is excellent. Our table was in front of the kitchen an you can see the way they work and the care they put in every plate. It was the perfect anniversary dinner. Thanks

It was my my girlfriend’s birthday the day we went and the ambience is amazing. The only things that threw us off was it took about 45 mins for any food to get to the table besides bread. Then she ordered a steak MW and it showed up MR and I ordered some chicken and it was a little rare in the middle. I honestly was a little disappointed with the food and so was she. For 105$ per person we both expected food that was going to be well prepared and excellent service. I appreciate the manager came and rushed our fixed plates, and took off some drinks we ordered off the bill. But besides that 2.5/5 stars.

Took my wife for her birthday and it was amazing, the service was so good and everyone was so friendly and polite to us. We were able to get window seats and the view was unreal. Definitely coming back again soon. P.S Food 100/10 👍🏻👍🏻
