Food was outstanding but for one glaring thing. Our steaks were served barely warm. Everything else was at perfect temperature.

Fantastic venue. We have been there several times & it seems like the food has gotten better. It was our anniversary and the staff recognized it and congratulated us. The carrot cake was fantastic! The Maitre'd could be a little more professional.

I had the Lobster Corn Chowder, Sea Scallops, Scalloped Potatoes, and Carrot Cake. The scallops were rubbery and there was alcohol in the caramel sauce on the Carrot Cake (which I am allergic too) the serve said the alcohol “cooked off anyway” but it doesn’t.

My ribeye was overcooked (well done rather than medium). Hash browns were salty. Broccolini was burned. Not enough blue cheese on my wedge salad. Waitress did not come by the table until late in the meal. I was surprised by how bad my meal was. This has not happened to me previously at 801.

The food is good. Seems a little high end for what you get price wise. It's good for a rare special occasion if you have never been there.

Possibly the best steaks in Omaha and that’s saying something. You get what you pay for with prime beef, so it’s not cheap but it is a dining experience every steak-lover should enjoy at least once!
