   What a great afternoon seaside with one of the best lunches around. We had the pork shank with gnocchi with a squash purée as an appetiser. We also had a side Caesar salad a roasted beef and citrus salad along with cookies and cream cheesecake and pumpkin pie. Everything was absolutely superb.  the service was on point we can’t wait to return.

   This place operates in an absolutely outrageous and completely unacceptable manner. We had a reservation at A+O Restaurant at Balboa Bay Resort. Our total bill was $378.20, and we intentionally left a tip to round it up to $400—that was the amount we authorized and agreed to pay. Later, we discovered that our card was charged $500. When I called to ask what was going on, they sent me a receipt—a falsified receipt showing a total of $500, with an altered amount and a completely fake signature that is NOT mine. I never signed that receipt, yet someone on their staff clearly forged my signature and changed the total. This is blatant fraud and a criminal act! They are liars, so be careful with them. And to make matters worse, they never admitted to their wrongdoing.

   The waiters are so pleasant and that atmosphere was just right ..food was reasonably priced and delicious.

   I would rather be giving this place my usual 5 star rating but they were off today. Our waitress who is usually excellent had too many tables and we were ignored. The fish tacos are usually crunchy today they were mushy, the fries weren’t crunchy either and the burger was overcooked so the meal wasn’t as enjoyable as usual. Big difference is if we ever had a problem in the past the wait staff would be attentive and fix it. Today no one came by, we didn’t eat the burger we were waiting for her to have it cooked to our liking, same with the fries and the mushy taco but she didn’t come by until we had to leave for a meeting. My hot tea and water wasn’t replenished once, sadly, it was not a great day.

   Our server Deeana was so kind. Overall, the staff were amazing! The food was delicious! They had given my wife and I complimentary dessert with “Happy Anniversary” on the chocolate as I had stated on the open table app that it was our 5th year wedding anniversary. It was a very good experience for my family and I. Thank you for making it such a memorable occasion.

   Wonderful setting and warm outdoor seating with perfect view. Carolers during dinner made our Christmas dinner extra special. Would be nice to see holiday dinner that includes appetizer, main entree and dessert. Thank you!

   We’ve been here dozens of times. The food recently has gone downhill. The burger was greasy and overly sweet. The Cesar salad was doused with Parmesan cheese making the salad gritty - the Parmesan was also tasted like the kind out of a shaker can and they put it in everything including the broccolini. The croutons in the Cesar salad were stale. The fries were decent but one plate was well done and the other was soggy? Coca Cola even tasted off. I’m chalking it up to an off day but this was really a terrible meal. We all decided we won’t be back but for food but still like the location for ambiance and drinks.

    Beautiful breakfast Christmas Eve! The decor was spectacular & service was top notch!!! From the valet, to the host that greeted us, to the server, and busser… everyone was in a good mood and just made the experience special! Thank you!
