Fondée en 2013, Capitol Cider est un restaurant, un magasin d'alcool et une salle de spectacle avec bar complet, situé au cœur du quartier Capitol Hill de Seattle. Leur bar offre plus de 170 cidres en bouteille et en fut, également 10 bières artisanales en fut, ainsi que des spiritueux conçus à base de pommes, incluant vodka, gin et calvados. Leur menu de style "Pub" moderne est entièrement sans gluten. L'atmosphère du bar est créée avec des panneaux sombres, une collection impressionnante de copies de tableaux célèbres, des livres antiques et des éléments architecturaux d'époque. Au sous-sol, vous trouverez des tables de jeux de palets, jeux de société, des jeux de type anecdotes et quelques téléviseurs (normalement cachés) qui sont utilisés pour les événements locaux sportifs ou culturels.     5 courses, each course with choices, optionally paired to wine or cider? You said yes and sold it out last year so we are doing it again. See the menu on our website at www.astirseattle.com/nye. The menu features a welcome course and then first through fourth courses. Please be mindful what you select as your 3rd course. We will likely not have the option to substitute on the day of service. Fine Print On 12/31, this 5-course menu will be the ONLY option offered in the dining room. For downstairs at a/stir, you can show up and enjoy our late night menu all evening from 6pm until close. The late night menu is limited to fish and chips, fried chicken, cheese curds and hand cut fries.

    I made dinner reservations for my staff at A Stir after a conference in Seattle, though I was unable to attend myself—and I must say, I’m so bummed I missed it! The following Monday, I was greeted in the office by my entire team raving about how amazing the food and service were. Every dish was packed with flavor and crafted with quality. With team members who are gluten-free, it was crucial to find a restaurant that offered more than just a basic salad. A Stir exceeded expectations with a full menu of creative, nutritious dishes and an extensive selection of wine, cider, and gluten-free beer. On the morning of our reservation, I received a thoughtful email from the executive chef, Ton, with personalized recommendations. This added such a nice touch and made the experience even smoother for my team. Our reservation was at 6:15, and when my team arrived, dishes were freshly served, hot, and ready—a perfect way to unwind after a long few days at the conference. Dining at A Stir was the ideal way to close out their weekend, and I can’t wait to visit on my next trip to Seattle to experience it myself. Thank you, Ton and the entire A Stir team, for providing my staff with such a refreshing and memorable dining experience!

    We have only recently had to change to a gluten free diet. We were delighted to discover A Stir, a restaurant with all gluten free, not just a dish or two. The grilled cauliflower was amazing, the lamb burger delicious, and the lobster Mac and Cheese was a hit. Add to these dishes a great selection of ciders and wines, it was a wonderful evening out. We will be back.

    This was the perfect place to take a group from out of town with many different dining needs: gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Highly recommend! Nice atmosphere!

    We had an outstanding experience from the food, to the ambiance and service. The crab cakes were very meaty with minimal breadcrumbs. Lobster Mac was indulgent and the spaghetti Amatriciana was packed with flavor and the pasta was perfectly al dente—I couldn’t believe it was gluten-free! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the chef was generous with his time getting to know us. The decors is both sophisticated and casual at the same time, very comfortable.

    I’m so glad they still have the fish n chips, my favorite! We shared two veggies for an appetizer; everyone enjoyed their dinners. Desserts were good, not fab but the birthday candles were much appreciated. ;-)

    Really delicious and loved that it was gluten free. We all wanted so many things on the menu. But we had an 8:15 pm reservation and unfortunately a number of things were sold out. Still, a solid place to recommend.

    Lovely experience, fun cider flight options, amazing appetizers (OMG the calamari), entrees fine, dessert (mousse) a bit meh. Super glad we went and appreciate a fully GF menu!

    The food was excellent and the menu extensive. If you have a food allergy, you are well cared for here. It is a fully gluten free kitchen with many options for vegan, vegetarian, other allergens. Reasonably priced food and drinks menu given the location. Service was a bit slow for us on the night and we had to ask for our order to be taken, after being seated for about 10 minutes. It may have been a blip due to an understaffing for the size of the crowd on a Tuesday night as we only saw a couple of active wait staff. Overall good value and great tasting food. Highly recommended.
