I’ve never eaten Gnocchi that tasted so good! All our meals were extremely flavoursome with some good wine choices. Will definitely be back to this little Gippsland gem.

An absolute gem in Stratford. Take the time to stop at this amazing place on your way through town. Stunning food from a menu with something for everyone. Beautiful setting with excellent service. Chef Kevin presents a fabulous dining experience. Well worth a visit!

On Christmas Day our table of 6 had a great time. Everything was very professional. The sharing of food platters was a great idea. The food was excellent and was plentiful. We were very glad that we had a decent timed break between the three courses. The waitresses were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It was a 30 minute drive to the venue and we are looking forward to our next visit there. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

first time at the resturant food was very well prepared and served good menu options wines were a tad expensive overall good value

We were looking forward to eating here, it’s not very often a new restaurant opens up in our rural location. We had glowing feedback from friends who had already been there and we were not disappointed in the slightest. From the warm greeting on arrival to the carefully curated menu options, the whole evening was wonderful. It was a very busy pre Christmas night however the floor staff were very attentive and didn’t seem rushed or under pressure at all. The food was delivered hot , in a timely manner and was simply delicious. Although the restaurant is fairly spacious it can get bit noisy in a busy night, but there are some outdoor seating, which we opted for. Thank you to all at A Taste of Avon for a very memorable evening,

The Taste of Avon is an exceptional restaurant. We have eaten here twice and on both occasions the quality of the food had been outstanding. The service is excellent and very friendly. Prices are modest for this quality of cooking. A great addition to the Gippsland food culture.
