A great restaurant meal can be an act of storytelling and transportation. Sliding onto a stool at a bar, being met with a classy and silky martini punctuated with a briny olive, is there to prepare you for a plate of finely-shucked oysters that were bobbing in the Atlantic 36 hours ago. In this moment the noise and cacophony can melt away, your phone finds its way back into your pocket, and we find communion with those of us on our left and right.

We place a premium on doing the work to find producers, growers, and ranchers that have values that align with our own. It’s our desire to bring food to your table that speaks to its sense of place and time, and to be able to bring the connection to those producers to a higher level of consciousness.

A wonderful evening celebrating a birthday, loved the atmosphere and all the food was delicious plus service was great and very helpful and genuine.

The beef tartare isn't served in the typical fashion but it's wonderful. The Black Wagyu Tri-tip steak is a great preparation and they serve good cocktails.

Overall, the food left something to be desired. For the price that we paid everything was very underwhelming. Everything tasted OK but nothing was great! The service was fantastic. We had a very kind server, but that was probably the highest point of the night. The liquor that is included in the cocktails is bottom shelf, the baked oysters had overpowering spices , the Caesar salad was strangely prepared .. I will say we both enjoyed our steaks. Would we come back? Definitely not .

The hostess were super friendly and wished my Husband a happy birthday upon arrival and sat us promptly. We were a party a four and ordered off the happy hour menu and placed a order for dinner as well. The happy hour was very affordable and had a good amount of options food wise, I got the wagyu burger and the fries, both were honestly so good. The wagyu burger was cooked as i wanted and had alot of flavor, the sauce for the fries stood out amongst our table. We also got the santa maria wagyu, the crab and lobster salad, japanese milk bread and whipped mash potatoes. There was a consistent deliciousness with all the plates and sides. We absolutely loved the santa maria wagyu, definitely held the texas brisket style smoked taste to it. My husband was in love with the Amarreto sour.

Great food, very casual atmosphere, but very upscale food. We loved all the sides, apps, and meals we got. Very good service!

We had a fabulous experience at A5. Great cocktails, great wine, and great service. We had the hamachi appetizer which was incredible. We also had the pork belly. Delicious. We had the dry aged bone in strip as our entree, and it was cooked to perfection and amazing. My mouth is watering as I type this. The atmosphere was neat and fun, and we would definitely return. Highly recommend.

The Santa Maria tri tip is a MUST TRY! Mac and cheese croquettes were crispy and gooey. Japanese rolls were to die for. Great night
