    Absolutely fantastic food and service. Cocktails were also delicious. Lovely atmosphere and aesthetic. Music was a bit bass heavy and louder than comfort for conversation. Will definitely return, perhaps the music is less clubby earlier in the evening (we dined at 8pm).

    Fantastic experience. Cat was our server; she was amazing. We sat in an Aaktun for our date, it was enchanting. Food was 5 stars, delicious.

    Aaktun was fantastic! The food! The service! The ambience! Went there for Sunday brunch and had such a great meal. Very artful presentation, good food, and wonderful coffee! The bar is the place to sit to see and be seen. Imagine being in Tulum but in Durham…it felt that authentic!

    Wonderful space. Sat at the bar which was fun. Cocktails were creative and delicious. The coconut shrimp and pork belly dishes were great! Def add the bread as a side. And the DJ was on point with the Latin music. Would come back.

    Snowy night, but warm and friendly inside. The Brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had. My husband and I also loved the short ribs. The shrimp was good but a little hot for our tastes. We will be back!

    Made a reservation for a friend’s birthday dinner. The staff was so nice and answered all our menu questions. Food was plated beautifully and tasted amazing! We shared the crudo and ordered jerk chicken and bavette saltado as our mains, and both were fantastic! Service was great! Will be returning soon.
