The wait staff were amazing. The food was very flavorful but halibut and lamb were a little on the dry side. The setting was awesome. The main downside that really caused problems was their speaker system. Our table was right next to two speakers so our group of six could barely hear each - had to talk very loudly and sometimes yell to even communicate. Also made it difficult to hear our wait person. It was so frustrating. We did request that it be turned down but they said their whole system in synchronized so if they turn one down they all go down. Seems like a problem they need to address or let you know you are going to be seated next to their speakers so we could choose to go somewhere else.

Best way to start our anniversary, with an amazing brunch at Aba. As always the food, drinks and ambiance are all amazing!

One of the best spots in Austin! The food is phenomenal, drinks are top notch, and the ambiance & dining experience is one of the best in Austin! We will forever love Aba!! Our favorites are the whipped feta appitizer and the chicken kebab skewers... always a 10/10!

I feel like I've dined at a different restaurant to what the majority of reviews say! We were pretty disappointed in four of the six dishes we ordered over the evening. The potato's were dry, and lacked the rosemary and garlic flavour and the cauliflower had decent flavour but was underdone, I like al dente, but when you're having to saw with your knife just to cut it up there's a problem. The other two dishes that were a disappointment were the desserts, the Chocolate orange cremeaux was really heavy on the ginger, and the orange was missing. I expected a deep rich chocolate orange flavour but it tasted like a gingersnap with a hint of cocoa. And the chocolate chocolate cake was a thin slice of disappointment, it lacked rich chocolate flavour and tasted cheap. It's a real shame because the wine, service and atmosphere in the place are amazing. However the food, which is the main reason I eat out, was below average.

I found the menu to be very extensive and appealing to all palettes. The server was very helpful to us when we were making our selections. A suggestion for the bar is to serve “dirty ice” along with the drink when a cocktail such as a martini or manhattan is ordered. This may be a regional thing and not found here but is expected in many other cities.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!
