   Great wines, all female led winemakers. Had 3 bottles amongst our group and each one was a winner. Food is excellent. If you haven’t been, you have to try it.

   My dinner on February 20th was rather disappointing. The octopus was overcharred, and the potato dish was too salty. Drinks arrived after the food, and there was a long wait between courses, despite the restaurant not being busy. I won't be returning.

   We had a beautiful brunch experience at Abrielle, it was simply exquisite. From the inviting ambiance and beautifully decorated room, to the friendly and attentive service and mouthwatering dishes ( The French toast did not disappoint and my guest raved about the burger, portions were great too!) we truly felt transported… We’re deeply grateful for the warm kindness extended to us throughout our visit.

   To start off the night at Abrielle we ordered a Margarita and the Bridgette, the margarita was made weird and tasted a little salty but the Bridgette was wonderful. We wanted the whipped eggplant but our server told us it’d been taken off the menu and recommended the pumpkin dip instead, this dish was okay but the house made pita it was served with was very good. We also got the burrata with sourdough which was very good. Following those two we ordered the octopus and the ravioli. The octopus at first looked good but the texture was off, the end of the tentacle tasted like the dirt off of a grill and the back of it had a rubbery texture. The potato’s in this dish were good but the octopus itself was disappointing. The ravioli looked very good but we found it to be pretty bland. It had a creamy savoury flavour, but was also bland and felt like it was missing something. We decided not to order anything else after and I didn’t get a chance to say anything to the server about the octopus because she didn’t ask but we didn’t really care to complain. I’d give it a 5.5/10 overall experience. The service and ambiance were great but the food was disappointing.

   On a recent Valentine's Day, my wife and I ventured to Abrielle with high expectations for a memorable culinary experience. The restaurant's modern ambience and well-curated drink selection initially set a promising tone. However, despite its contemporary styling and innovative aspirations, Abrielle's execution left much to be desired. The fixed tasting menu, priced at $150 per person, was presented as a refined journey through shareable plates and a main course featuring Wagyu beef. Unfortunately, the promise of communal dining was undermined not only by surprisingly diminutive portion sizes but also by portions intended for sharing that appeared more suited to a single diner rather than two. This left us questioning the value and intent behind each course. A particularly disappointing moment was the reinterpretation of the classic tartare. Instead of the anticipated beef tartare, the menu offered a beet tartare—a creative, yet ultimately unsatisfying, substitute given the premium pricing. When one is asked to pay top dollar, the expectation is for a dish that respects tradition while executing it with finesse, something that was notably absent. The main course, touted as Wagyu beef, also failed to impress. The exterior bore an overly charred note, while the interior lacked the tenderness one would expect from such a prized cut. In essence, the dish fell short of the high standards one might reasonably expect from both the reputation and the price point. Overall, while Abrielle benefits from a stylish setting and a commendable drinks program, the disconnect between its ambitious pricing and the modest portions and execution suggests that diners may be better served elsewhere in downtown Toronto, where culinary precision meets genuine value.

   Amazing restaurant, staff was incredibly knowledgeable, food was outstanding. Victoria our server was very personable and made the experience a memorable one! We will definitely be back and letting everyone know about our fantastic experience
