   Great Night !! Good intro to the menu from the proprietor chef which had some lovely specials. Service & ambience were also good.

   Such a lovely, cosy little restaurant! We dined on a Friday night and felt very well attended to by staff, the seafood we had all tasted very fresh and as a Coeliac I felt very comfortable ordering as the menu was well labeled and the server had a good understanding of the ingredients and how items were prepared. It was a quiet and calm atmosphere with very nice soft music. Food was beautifully presented and there was a very nice selection of wines by the glass.

   Excellent as always. Fresh cod with mussels and lobster bisque was delicious My daughter had ribeye with veggies - also delicious Very good

   The food and service was excellent when we visited Acorn for an amazing Sunday roast. Whilst Acorn is more expensive than other places in Godalming the food speaks for itself and we have been back many times now. Marlena and Lizzie (maitre'd and wait staff) attended to our every need.

   Simply the best restaurant in Godalming and the local area. We’ve enjoyed excellent food and service on every visit and will certainly look to return in the not too distant future.

   Mixed fish starter avoid as: old used oil, too much salt and old fish was added to the fresh fish mix. Service was stretched on valentines night Hard chairs causing numbness restricted blood circulation Ribeye Steak served on top of the dauphinois potato in a bowl!! So the blood drained into the potato and there’s no place to cut the meat without mashing the vegetables plus the sauce (additional charge) was served having been overcooked in the microwave. Wine was good The bill was incorrect as two bottles of wine was substituted for two glasses of champagne an addition of £70 Frustrating

    First time visiting having heard positive noises about the restaurant in Godalming. Plenty of care on arrival and taking of orders. Only quibble was the time waiting for a starter whilst my wife had hers arrive and was finished by the time my order arrived. Quality of food however was exceptional and would still consider returning.
