The service was excellent. The waiter was polite and helpful in deciding what. to order. The food was delicious.

From the wine, the fresh pastas and sauces to dessert delicious! We had the Carbonara, Fettuccini Alfredo and Bolognese, plates cleaned by the end. The seabass was succulent and risotto good but the pastas was where it's at for us...Nice size portions and the tiramisu authentically creamy with perfected flavors. The service was welcoming, expedient, warm and entertaining. Our waiter sung a couple Italian operetic bars for the room making our time at Acqua e Farina momentous. Happy to have a new dinner spot in downtown Chula Vista.

We had the Chef’s pasta prepared in the 24 months parmesan wheel Delicious!!! Fernando Excellent service!

We ordered the gnocchi (very good), the salmon puttanesca (very good), and the chicken saltimbocca, which was VERY salty and cheesy. The meal was good overall. However, we were seated by glass doors that were opened onto the patio, and it was a cold night. (The heaters were on out on the patio.) While they tried to close the doors to keep the draft out, the constant back and forth of the wait staff left us very uncomfortable. There was never an offer to reseat us, so overall, while the meal was not bad, it was not the enjoyable dining experience we'd hoped for.

What a great addition to the Chula Vista restaurant scene. This is our second time eating here since they opened. Both times food has been fantastic. And service was impeccable. Our server Layla was a delight. This will definitely be added to our regular rotation.

Farina Trotarai Romana has just become a local gem for us. They offer fresh pastas, seafood and brick-oven pizzas, delicious!
