We had a very enjoyable afternoon. The vegan option was excellent. The tea choices were lovely and the location clean and fresh (but a bit impersonal) Overall the selection of sandwiches and cakes was good but nothing really special which made me think this was more for a good choice of venue for a "routine" afternoon out with friends as opposed to, say, a treat for a special birthday or event.

The venue covers the whole spectrum of casual, formal or business lunches. We had the afternoon tea, the service was second to none and while it was similar to other afternoon tea's I've had, the quality and selection of the open sandwiches were far superior to many of the finger sandwiches I've eaten. With lovely views over the lake and 18th green, the Centurian Club is definitely somewhere we will return to.

The tea was really enjoyable, the setting perfect and the service really good. We loved the "sample tea menu" It would have been 5 stars throughout but for two very small facts. It was such a wet and miserable day it would have great if the fire was alight on arrival rather than being lit as we left. The scones were amazing, beautifully light and the best I've had for an afternoon tea, the cakes, although delicious, were rather samey a little bit of variety would make the tea perfect. We will be back and I would recommend your tea to others.

This was the second time I'd been and enjoyed the whole experience, thank you. However, a 'proper' slice of cake rather than the tiny mouthfuls (albeit tasty!) would enhance the 'tea'.

Was a wonderful afternoon Tea, second to none. I have had tea at many other 5* places and this beats them all hands down. The food was amazing and the in house baker is incredible, those scones omg to die for. The staff are lovely, courteous and knowledgeable and it was a special experience. The waiter was lovely and very accommodating to all of our requests. The staff presented themselves professionally and it was a pleasure to have had the high standard you obviously are succeeding in setting. The grounds are looking immaculate, the decor is lovely. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon for my date with my hubby. Can't recommend this enough.

Really lovely, it was beautiful atmosphere nice and quiet so you could have a conversation. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Great venue, very happy, will be back for my birthday next month :)

I highly recommend Afternoon Tea at Centurion Club. Having previously had dinner there with family, I knew that their kitchen is topclass! Afternoon Tea did not disappoint. Great friendly service and a delicious tea was served. An experience not to be missed!

Have been to many afternoon teas, this one did not quite cut it for me. Did not like the open aspects of the sandwich, it proved hard to eat and somewhat messy. Free flowing fizzy only happened when you managed to get the attention of the waiter . This should be topped up when your glass is running low. In fact you had to ask for everything clean plates cutlery and more tea. Just thing the specialness is missing. I would not return nor would my other guests.
