   The sandwich was hard and not soft they didn’t have any afternoon teas only the bog standard coffee and normal tea. The staff didn’t understand much English when am asking about the type of tea they have. The food was okay not the bed you had to bend down to eat and also they didn’t change the plates or give you other cutlery.

   They really were not prepared to serve an afternoon tea, and we waited 45 minutes for our food. The server said it’s because we did not “pre-order,” but I said that we made a reservation for afternoon tea for two, and that should be sufficient toserve them notice that the food should be prepared.

   The scones and sandwiches were excellent! Service was a bit slow at first, but picked up quickly. Desserts didn't seem like anything special, but were still decent. Small tea selection, but the tea was still lovely. The decorations and utensils were super cute!

   I chose to have afternoon tea here because compared to other places it was cheap - and we got what we paid for. There was less food than usually offered at afternoon tea, sandwiches had been made a while ago and were not fresh, scones very small. We were put upstairs in the empty restaurant but that was better as the bar downstairs was noisy & packed. I wouldn’t go again.

   It was my partner's birthday and we were going t the theatre to celebrate it. I chose Afternoon Tea at the Park Plaza County Hall because it was convenient for the theatre. The hotel is very modern and we were seated in a brightly lit cocktail bar: not the most romantic of settings. However, the food and the service - after a shaky start - were good. I would recommend Afternoon Tea at the Park Plaza County Hall for a pre-theatre meal, but not a cosy romantic tete-a-tete.

   Its good fun for a catch up with sober friends. Plenty of sweet foods, could do with a bigger selection of savory.

   There was no afternoon tea. Hotel Lobbie bar with crowds of people checking in. They offered us tea-we left

   Awful, we arrived early and they did not have our booking. We were hastily seated in the bar ( which was like a lobby) as they rushed to see if the chef could prepare our afternoon tea. After asking what tea we wanted - without receiving a menu, we decided to leave without eating as they felt unprepared for our booking. Such a shame and spoiled our bank holiday day out. - They shouldn't take bookie if the chef isn't in!

    The venue were not expecting us and we had to wait an hour for our food. There were only two varieties of sandwiches and the scones were extremely small. Definitely not value for money at all. Not to mention the £20 service charge that I didn't realise had been applied until after I had paid. Overall a very disappointing experience.
