Smokies Afternoon Tea is a great treat available any day of the week.

We do request a £5 deposit prior to arrival to secure your booking, our team will be in touch shortly after you make your reservations to arrange this on your behalf.

Children's afternoon teas, and dietary afternoon teas are available from gluten free to vegan. Just let us know in advance.

Uprgades to sparkling afternoon teas or gin afternoon teas are also available on request.

Thought I'd treat my mum, excited as never been out for afternoon tea before but the photos of the food and presentation looked inviting (different to what we were served). Arrived had to phone reception as there was no staff about just a few boys in the bar area with feet up on the chairs, a lady came through amicable and polite. Asked us if we wanted a drink, showed us where to sit, drink given to us approx 200ml of tea in a cup (no teapot), the stand of food brought out to us. Most of the cakes had fallen, and the sandwiches felt like they had been pre-made with parts of the bread dry & hard. No other drinks were offered, and no staff around to ask or voice any feedback to them. We were the only ones sat in that area as the boys went. Disappointed as it was a treat for my mam and thought with it being at Smokies, it would be nice, but I know now that I will be crossing this place of my wedding venue list!

The server was very annoying still eating my food when she wanted to take my plate ,food was poor value sandwiches not enough server also very noisy with the door and dishwasher banging about I would not recommend it to anyone very disappointed.

My sister and I had afternoon tea and were very surprised at how lovely it was (we made use of the 50% offer) Value for money, good service and quiet, pleasant surroundings. The staff were very attentive and social distancing guidelines were observed. Will go again.

Fantastic value afternoon tea, appropriate Covid-19 safety measures in place, hand gel station's, staff had masks and gloves on.

Perfect, lovely chilled atmosphere with friendly service which was a delight being the first outing in months! Food was excellent and extremely good value for money who could ask for more well done Smokies we will definitely be back :)

Really enjoyed this afternoon tea, thelounge was very quiet and social distancing very good. Great value at £10 each.

The bread for the sandwiches were stale and the filling was poor and the cakes were poor and the mince pies were very small and broken. I recieved Luke warm coffee and we were told it would come in 5 to 7 minutes and it took 20 minutes to come. It was dark and poor service we got served then we didn't see a member of staff around for about 20 minutes. There was only us in and we were so disappointed and bored

The worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had, luckily I got this on offer. If not I would of refused to pay. Nothing like the pictures that are advertised. Will never return for afternoon tea again and certainly won’t be recommending anyone to do so, I’m hoping the Christmas party I’ve booked isn’t a massive let down.

Friendly service on arrival, helpful staff, quick with order of drinks and dietary requirements, sandwiches was fresh and lovely fillings, great price

We had to wait 20 minutes for the food to arrive and we had both finished our drinks that were included by the time the food arrived. When the afternoon tea arrived it looked a bit pathetic if I’m honest. The sandwiches were much smaller than other afternoon teas I’ve had, they would have looked better with the crusts left on and the fillings were measles and uneven with splitting between me and my partner. Instead of a full scone we only had half of one each, the strawberries were off, soggy and inedible. The small cakes on top were nice but again there was 5 of one type, 2 of another and 3 of another so it was uneven again. The staff were lovely and the dining area lovely as well but the food let the venue down massively.
