Sharing the ground ﬂoor with the magniﬁcent triple-height lobby is The Stratford Brasserie. The seasonal menu, by Ben Harrington, formerly of Soho House, is characterised by local produce and European inﬂuences, blending classic brasserie staples with a touch of the unexpected.

Uniting locals, guests and residents over coffee, cocktails and light, relaxed dishes, The Stratford Brasserie is unlike anything in the city – a sprawling, vibrant space featuring an open kitchen, eclectic seating and lounge area and in addition an art installation called ‘Gust of Wind’ by Paul Cocksedge.

Overall good. Afternoon tea choices were very good, food was good, DJ/music and ambience were great. Service could have been better, they seem short staffed, as we ended up waiting 30 minutes for some scones! But overall very good value.

Wonderful service delicious food. My only comment would be that the chairs are rather low but that didn’t spoil a lovely afternoon tea. The DJ was playing funky music and there is a wonderful modern fire to keep us warm.
