Our Philosophy

Specializing in authentic regional Mexican cuisine, our chef driven menu is rooted in traditional Mexican recipes. Time is our secret ingredient. Every dish is hand-made and meticulously prepared using only the highest quality and freshest organic ingredients sourced from Cayman’s farmers and fishermen who share in our food philosophy.

Time is our secret ingredient. Regionally inspired Mexican recipes are paired with slow cooked meats, marinated and smoked to perfection and handmade NON-GMO corn tortillas. We have travelled extensively through Mexico to develop a curated Agave program focused on the craftsman and mezcaleros of Oaxaca. We import and distribute Tequilas and Mezcals throughout Cayman developing the perfect Margarita, simple and fresh paired with Tequila Ocho. By the way we also have a Secret backyard Mercadito for events and barbeque Street style Tacos.

Food and service were different than typical Mexican food. Very pricey for size and quality.

Great food! Great service. Only reason I didn’t give it a five is that the music was too loud and it was too dark. Couldn’t even see your menu.

Amazing experience eating at Agave. Will definitely come back when we return to Cayman. The food was incredible. Wonderful use of spices, creative and delicious dishes. We also got wonderful recommendations for other things to do on the island. Can’t say enough good things about our meal!

We have eaten there2 years in a row. We stay on seven mile beach so it’s a little out of the way but worth it. It’s a smaller location locally owned for 18 years with very personal service from owners and staff. The food is delicious and they are very engaging. We even tasted their secret eggnog recipe! When in Cayman pay them a visit. You won’t be disappointed

Food was absolutely delicious! Drinks were perfect. The guacamole was fresh and super tasty. All the tacos were really good! Our waiter Kenny was friendly and fun to talk to. All of his suggestions were great and he gave us recommendations on other places as a bonus! Will definitely be back and spread the good word on this hidden gem.

Amazing food and wonderful service. Best burrito ever! And the Mezcal margs... perfect!!! Very authentic and delicious Mexican food. 😋 I'll be eating there again for sure!

Poor service. Watered down margaritas. Bland food. Dishonesty regarding taxi service. Very disappointing considering rating. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Reading this is upsetting for us as a business. We squeeze fresh limes daily and use Tequila Ocho in our Margs. This is how we make sure we sell our customers the best Marg we can. Others on the beach use powder mix and not even Tequila and if it is Tequila it is the lowest industrial quality possible at $25. To deliver the best we can we need to know when you are on premise if we are coming up short in anyway? We easily could have provided more Tequila, that is what we do or get you something food wise you enjoy! We do not have Uber or a great Taxi service here in Cayman. We have nothing to do with the Taxis. If there was an issue with the ride, please report it. A dispatcher sends the Taxi, we have no association with the Taxis or who shows up. Call us so we know what happened?

Amazing food! Husband said he has the best burrito ever. Quesadilla and birra tacos are great, margaritas are outstanding. I’ll miss this place!
